NOTE: The use of the cone insert assembly is not recommend with any other feeder. The weight of the hay is entirely supported by the ground engaging center base of the cone insert assembly. The outer edge of the cone should not rest on the top tubes of the lower feeder assembly, as the feeder is not intended to support the weight of the hay. The chain connections and lateral support braces are to ensure the cone insert remains centered and to prevent tipping.
